Upon arrival, guests receive a welcome basket that includes wine and snacks.
Enjoy unobstructed views everywhere you turn, that showcase the Bridger Range, Gallatin Range, and Spanish Peaks.
The guesthouse is 1,100 sq. ft. of award-winning mountain-style architecture. There’s a great room with a 12-foot ceiling, a large kitchen, an oversized sofa and chairs, and a wood-burning Franklin stove. And the open bunkroom has six custom double bunk beds—it’s all part of the Montana experience.
The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, table settings, and barware. The extra-large bath has double sinks and a spacious tub/shower. Of course quality linens and towels, down pillows, soap, and shampoo are included.
There’s a washer and dryer, DIRECTV, Wi-Fi, heating, and air conditioning. A 30-foot covered porch is complete with chairs and a new gas grill. And a spacious front yard and lawn features Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, aspens, and wildflowers.

your montana base camp
This is the perfect base camp for a family or group of anglers.
The ranch is close to the Yellowstone Park West Entrance (a 90-minute drive). You can fish or raft the Gallatin (2 minutes away), Madison River (30 minutes), and Yellowstone Rivers (45 minutes). Go horseback riding. Explore downtown Bozeman’s shops, galleries, and restaurants. Or tour Montana State University.
It’s also a quick trip to the towns of Big Sky, Ennis, Gardiner, Livingston, and West Yellowstone—each drive includes wide-open views, Montana wildlife, and meandering rivers.
While we want you to explore Montana, some people don’t even leave the Ranch. On the property, you may encounter bald eagles, deer, ducks and geese, hawks, horses, fox, and turkeys. Venture out on a 15-minute drive to see bison, elk, and moose.
From the guesthouse you can bike, hike, run, and walk for miles. Sit and read that book you’ve been meaning to finish. Cook, sip, and relax. Or mosey on down to Stacey's Steakhouse for dinner, drinks, and live music. There’s also Wi-Fi and a big screen TV if you must stay connected. It’s that perfect.

fly fishing and other adventures
If fly fishing is on your list, there are three public Gallatin River access points five minutes away for wild, catch-and-release brown and rainbow trout (even the elusive grayling).
The Gallatin is one of the most productive and safest wading rivers in Montana. Close to the Ranch, you can walk up and downstream for miles and rarely see other anglers. It’s also an easy drive to the Madison and Yellowstone rivers.
You can fish on your own, or make arrangements with our house guide service, visit Trout Tales Fly Fishing and ask for Ian. Note that guides should be booked as far in advance as possible.
There’s also two fly shops, The Rivers Edge and Yellow Dog Fly Fishing, ten minutes away for all your apparel and equipment needs.
Additional adventures include biking, hiking, hot springs, horseback riding at Jakes Horses and rafting through Montana Whitewater.
Kid activities are also close, including the Museum of the Rockies, zip-lining, and tubing. Log onto Visit Bozeman for complete information.
